On Saturday morning, 26th October, a mouth-watering variety of home-made delicacies from Bulgaria and Great Britain was on display at the Petko Slaveykov Library.
Visitors enjoyed delights such as pies, cakes, savoury rolls, pastries and other classic British treats, as well as the traditional Bulgarian cheese and lapade pie and a range of sweet desserts.
The event marked the finale of a short language exchange held at the library, where Bulgarians and English speakers came together to improve their conversational skills. Participants enjoyed lively conversations over tea, coffee and plenty of delicious sweet and savoury bites, celebrating cultural exchange and community spirit.
