SUMMER CAMPAIGN "COME TO THE LIBRARY"

On June 5, 2024 Regional Library "P. R. Slaveikov" - the city of Veliko Tarnovo announces for the eighth year in a row the summer campaign "Come to the library with friends". The initiative is under the patronage of the chairman of the Veliko Tarnovo Municipal Council, Mr. Vencislav Spirdonov!

The initiative will traditionally take place from June 5th to September 15th, and the campaign aims to promote the interest of the young generation in books. "Come to the library with friends" works diligently in the direction of creating reading habits in children from an early age, stimulating the curiosity and inquisitiveness of young and older readers, fostering a lifelong reading culture.

All students from educational institutions on the territory of the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo can participate in the event.

In the period from September 16 to 30, 2024, a commission will analyze the results of the users of RB "P. R. Slaveykov" and a winner will be announced based on the largest number of books borrowed and read by one student from all branches of the Regional Library "P. R. Slaveykov".

The presentation of the awards will take place on October 1, 2024, on the occasion of the solemn celebration of the International Day of Music and Poetry in the central building of the library (2 Iv. Boteva Street).
